How to Beat the Summer Heat at Your Wedding

The summer is a beautiful time of year to get married, but with this season comes the heat! You will want to make sure to keep everyone comfortable throughout the day.

Hydrate! Make sure you keep your guests well hydrated through the wedding ceremony and reception. If your ceremony is outdoors, have hydration stations with water and other refreshing drinks.

A Very Cool Cocktail Hour: Popsicles and watermelon cubes and other refreshing fruits are good options to have at your cocktail hour! Also have frozen cocktails and ice cream stations too!

Schedule Your wedding appropriately: A late afternoon wedding perhaps? Since the sun is the strongest midday, schedule a late afternoon or early evening wedding ceremony. Keep your ceremony short if you are doing it outdoors. Have tents with fans and portable air conditioners. Give your guests hand-held fans to keep cool throughout the day.

By the Water: Have your wedding by the water if possible. It will be cooler than having your wedding inland.
